Are you a designer? Why or why not?

I am a designer in the progress. I create things and solutions.

One word to describe your take on design:

modular

The last thing you made:

“The Rad bag Collection.” It was a material exploration that resulted in making some tote bags. These bags are first knitted using Dream-Sil yarn (a yarn that is coated with PVC) then I panini press them or I use the heat gun to melt the fabric together. All the seams in these bags are melted together, nothing is sewn.

The next thing you want to make:

I want to keep exploring the Dream-sil yarn and some other unconventional yarns.

A designed object you adore:

Tiles

A designed object you can’t stand the sight of:

Coasters

A moment of pure creative joy:

When you know what you are doing but don’t know the full extent of what you are making.

When we say “designing the future,” what comes to mind?

Awareness. The future is a place where designers are aware of the environmental impact of their objects, and everyone is equal to one the other.

Freedom. The future is a place where objects don’t bind you to a specific location.

Transportability, lightness, adaptability, and versatility.

Comfortability. Highly textured and simple.

If you could show your work to anyone in the world, who would it be?

The living designer I would like to show my work to is JACQUEMUS, yet I would have loved to show my work to Virgil Abloh.

Your aesthetic embodied as a...

Sound?
Ultrasonic

Color? #7CFC00

Texture? bedazzled

Your *grail*: if you could own one iconic design work, what would it be?

The Superstudio BAZAAR 1968. “the first fiberglass sofa that can close like spaceship,”

What’s next for you?

Just graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and I am currently getting my life together. But I wish to pursue my own practice as a designer in the world.︎
